Southern Alberta Enduro Riders
Southern Alberta Enduro Riders (SABER) is a non-profit off-road riding club based in Lethbridge, Alberta, operating as a division of the Lethbridge Motorcycle Club. Our members share a passion for off-road riding, responsible trail use, and building a strong riding community throughout Southern Alberta.
Over the years, SABER has grown into a close-knit group of riders who not only enjoy the sport but work together to support and protect the trail systems that make it possible.
Our Trails
Trail stewardship is at the heart of what we do. SABER members volunteer hundreds of hours each season building, maintaining, and improving designated off-road trails throughout Southern Alberta. From clearing deadfall and repairing trail sections to developing new single-track routes, our volunteers work hard to ensure riders can enjoy safe, sustainable trails for years to come.
Working collaboratively with land managers and partner organizations, we are committed to protecting riding access while promoting responsible off-road recreation.
Our Races
SABER proudly hosts off-road races that are part of Alberta’s provincial championship series. These events attract riders from across the province and beyond, showcasing the incredible terrain and challenging trails found in Southern Alberta.
Our race weekends are built on volunteer effort and community support, creating exciting events for racers while maintaining a welcoming and supportive atmosphere for riders of all levels.
Our Community
What truly sets SABER apart is the people. Our club has evolved into a community that feels more like family than an organization. Many of our members have been riding together for years, and it’s not uncommon to see multiple generations of riders within the club.
From new riders discovering the sport to some of Alberta’s top off-road competitors, SABER is built on mentorship, camaraderie, and a shared love of the trail.
Volunteerism and member appreciation are central to everything we do, and our success as a club comes from the dedication and passion of our members.

Trail Stewardship & Land Partnerships
Responsible trail stewardship is a core value of Southern Alberta Enduro Riders. Our club works hard to ensure off-road riding remains sustainable and accessible by maintaining designated trails and promoting responsible riding practices.
Each year, SABER volunteers dedicate significant time to trail maintenance and development projects throughout Southern Alberta. This work includes clearing fallen trees, improving drainage, repairing worn trail sections, and building new single-track where appropriate. These efforts help protect the landscape while ensuring trails remain safe and enjoyable for riders.
We work collaboratively with land managers, government partners, and other trail organizations to support responsible trail use and long-term access to riding areas. Through these partnerships, SABER plays an active role in protecting and improving the trail systems that our community depends on.
Youth & Future Riders
The future of off-road riding depends on the next generation, and SABER is proud to support youth riders and families who share a passion for the sport.
Our club has always been family-friendly, and many of our members ride alongside their children and grandchildren. Young riders are welcomed into the community where they can learn skills, gain confidence, and develop a strong respect for the trails and the environment.
Many of Alberta’s talented off-road riders have grown through supportive club environments like SABER. By encouraging youth participation, mentorship, and positive riding experiences, we help ensure that the sport of off-road motorcycling continues to grow for generations to come.
At SABER, the trail doesn’t just connect places—it connects generations of riders who share a passion for adventure, community, and the outdoors.
